These docs cover running P-Stream yourself. Anything about using it — a video that won't play, buffering, subtitles, watch party, casting, shortcuts — has nothing to do here. This documentation is purely about helping you self-host the services and apps.
Still stuck?#
Ask in the channel that fits your problem — someone from the community or the team will pick it up.
Include what you were watching, which source it was on, and which setup you're using (default, extension, desktop app, or your own proxy). Almost every question otherwise starts with someone asking for exactly those three things.
Reporting a bug#
Bugs and feature requests go on Codeberg. A title that reproduces the problem is worth more than a description of it.
What we can't help with#
- Adding a specific movie or show. P-Stream hosts nothing and cannot add anything. What's available is whatever the sources already have.
- Fixing a broken source. Sources are third-party sites. When one breaks, switching to another in the player's Source menu is the fix.
